Istokstan has a wooden house, a wild fruit garden, dogs Jarin and Tara, a fresh water source, an art gallery, a study, a fireplace, an outdoor kitchen. Istokstan is a tub of unheated water, the smell of pine trees, listening to birds singing. It is observation, it is monitoring, it is morning coffee and time to wake up, to sleep, to think, to work, to read, to talk, to play chess. Istokstan is a home, good food, an art workshop, a room for meditation, life and rest. It is a sanatorium. It is an idea, a place where guests can let their horses rest and work on themselves. It has been a long journey from conception to realisation, but today I can say that I have a space that is fit for it. With just enough facilities, each of which is of high quality and clean.
Istokstan is for everyone who wants to create, to meet, to calm down. Above all, for those who need a place where to retreat and look in peace at where, how, why. For all creatives and those of you who need space and time for body, heart and spirit to feel safe. A place where you can work undisturbed. I invite all who need rest after which you can go on creating. All of you who want to spend time away from stress, mass and rush. I invite all of you who simply want peace and joy of being.
Istokstan is in a remote location and offers: yurt – artists studio & gallery – carpenter’s workshop with hand tools – workroom – open-air forest kitchen – toilets (dry toilets) and shower (with water from the source) – library – chess corner – small stream – sauna
Istokstan is situated in the middle of a forest. I do not recommend a visit to anyone who is not used to or does not want to encounter these conditions. We are in a natural environment with ascetic, non-invasive infrastructure. Staying here teaches you serenity, certain discipline and wisdom.

Invitation to Istokstan Membership 2026
You are invited to join a community that keeps Istokstan an open and simple space. With your membership, you support its continued existence and the belief that, despite obstacles and complications, ordinariness is possible. And more, that it can bring refreshment and calm.
Istokstan is a small piece of forest, fresh water, clean air, and above all, an uncomplicated relationship between people and people with nature. I conceived the idea while traveling the world and began bringing it to life just before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The core idea was to offer a place to people who desire nothing more than peace. A space where you can find stillness, rest, and relaxation. A moment of creativity, a reconnection with the simplicity of being. A look into the soul.
My hope was to sustain Istokstan through voluntary contributions, but that vision never took root. I wasn’t able to attract enough people who understood this way of operating. So I had to pause, and in order to continue, I introduced a membership fee.
I encourage you to take time to reflect and become a member. In advance, I thank you for your membership and for supporting Istokstan’s activities in 2026 through your contribution.
Membership fees:
– Individual: 100 euros
– Couple: 150 euros
– Family: 200 euros
All members, upon payment of the annual fee, gain access to Istokstan on the basis of voluntary contributions. In addition, I offer you **one astrological birth chart reading per year at half price** and will send you fresh astrological narratives each month.
